Folks:

Since i got my 2000 TL-P in May, i've noticed that most everyone else seem to be driving so slow now on the roads. In other words, i've not been able to help myself but speed and get by most everyone else. Also, going the speed limit at 100kmh/65mph, seems as if i'm driving thru a school zone at 20mph. Anyone else notice this when they first got their TL's?

It's hard to imagine how i'd be able to fall back to lesser cars after having this Tl.

I have to set my cruise control to 45mph just because I catch myself going 60 in a 45.

Hee hee, I know what you're talking about. I'm just now getting used to things appearing to move a lot slower than they really are. If I drove the way the car wants to be driven, I'll be 20 MPH over the speed limit all the time.

 

Well, the car is just so smooth. Well, a S500 is still a better car but for the price, I can't complain. I was at the racetrack once, when my TL was in the pit with the HOOD UP! People thought I shut down my engine................ I mean it is a pretty quiet car. Pretty stable as well. So, it's really hard to not to go pass the speed limit. I use my cruise control all da time.......

 

I been driving for a looonnng time....I had never gotten a speeding ticket til I got my TL...This damn thing is smooth and quiet I forget that I'm going over 80mph sometimes

 

hmmmmm if you have that problem with a TL-P, wait till you own a TL-S..... =P I can't help it either ... and especially with my limo tint it's soooooooo hard to see cops =*(
