So I was able to pop off the green cover on the center console light, but how do you get at the bulb to change it?

Also, anyone particularly recommend anything
for backup light bulb replacements?

A couple members have changed their console lights as well as other lights. Do a search on it and you will find a great deal of tutorials and information on it. Hope this helped

you have to actually remove the center console and reach the bulb from underneath. taking the green tab off will do nothing for you
