id call them premium enough haha, i believe premium usually refers to u opted for them as an option over what the car came with but in this case it was the only set of wheels the car comes with, and the tl's wheels would be comparable to other "premium wheels"

Well since you have a 99 TL the only model they had was a TL-P, where P stands for premium so I would consider your wheels premium. Now I have a TL-S so i guess mine are Special. Do I win???

In the case of the TL-S when looking at car values like Kelly Blue Book, I believe "premium wheels" means the chrome wheels that were optional at the time (but rarely chosen). I've noticed some cars for sale in California have these chrome wheels which are otherwise identical to the standard Type S wheel. I don't know what it means for the TL-P...

Ding ding ding.... we have a winner.

Premium = not part of the OEM package.

These are chrome Type S wheels on a 99TL. Hope the member that owns this car doesn't mind me posting this. I'm not sure that this is what is meant by "premium wheels", but it might be...

Yeah, the chrome wheels are nice. If I lived in FL or CA, I'd probably hunt down a set. But living up here in MA where the roads are white all winter long with salt, it's probably not too practical. Damn...
