Who here renewed there On-Star?

I got a notice today that my On-Star is about to expire. I hardly ever used it, but I feel like I would want to renew it for another year. Just curious who here did or did not renew there On-Star when the time was up.

Thanks

I just mailed my renewal yesterday. To me it is well worth the piece of mind.

I think it was $199 for the Safe and Sound plan. Someone correct me if I'm wrong ...

Yeah, it's $199 for a year or you could pay $16.95 per month.

Got my renewal notice 2 days ago. I guess I'll renew it and see how I feel about it next year. True, I hardly ever use it also, but like the saying goes, better safe than sorry, huh?

I've decided not to renew when the time comes. I have used it a handful of times in the 6 months, and overall, they haven't been all that helpful. I'm sure when the rubber hits the road and you need onstar, they'll be able to give assistance.
From what the onstar people said, when the service ends, we can still contact them via the buttions on the mirror.

I'll probably renew...that Virtual Advisor feature helps if you on the road a lot (traffic, weather, etc.)...I just wish the minutes weren't so expensive...
