I never received the right info. Is our TL faster or that IS300? How faster is it? Does anybody know a site or something where i can compare the TL speed to other cars as well? THanks

Our TL is faster than the IS300 but only by a few tenths of a second. That means either one can win with a good launch.

If you've read anything about the IS300 you will realize that with their bum transmission there is no "Good start".

tl is barely faster in straight line race, but the IS has better suspension. on the track, the tl wont have a chance.

Well, I did hang with the S4 once at the track, and had better lap times. It's all about the driver, and of course the car they drive does make a difference. But with a good driver, even a Miata can spank the M3.

I used to have a Geo Storm the very base model with 5 speed manual 4 cil 1.6 liter engine and I was racing with v8 caprice classics and used to win. I am sure that you can kill that IS300 easy.

Tl's Are Definitely Faster Than The IS300

My brother has a IS 300 and everytime we raced he beat by like two and a half to three and a half car lengths at the 1/4 mile mark. but, when he hits his 4th gear its allover 4 me. but thats that I have the 4speed the 5 speed is faster depending on how good of a run the TL has.

The TL is faster on the top end but the IS 3 will smoke us off the line because it is definately a lot lighter than the TL.
