Depends how you want them. If you want them only straight on/off with the door, you can tap any constant power source from the passenger side fusebox. The one i would tap into is Fuse 11, you can use an add-a-circuit for this. Since fuse 11 is hot all the time and controlls the interior/courtesy lights. Then you wire the ground to each door jam, unscrew the part that presses in when the door closes and you'll find 1 wire which is your ground. Basically follow the directions to wire up the illuminated door sills if u can find it.

Tapping it from the dome light is the easiest. Try to find out why the dome light doesn't work. Another (more complicated) way is to tap into each one of the four door switches, but you'll need diodes to isolate them so that opening the rear doors won't light up the door lights on the front doors.

grab a multimeter, or go buy one figure out which wire is not always hot, or always cold. it is the other one (pretty sure there will be three).
Tap into each wire, one at a time. If you run into two hot, then shut your door, then find which one is related to opening and shutting the door. That will be the one.

I just removed my door panels on each front door and tapped into the courtesy lights on the door. If you use a coat hanger you can run the wires through the little rubber boot and everything is kosher and comes on when the front doors open and go off when closed
it was really not that hard at all. I also went ahead and up the fuse by 10 amps since i added extra loghts to it just to be safe.

Ask and you shall recieve. i forgot that i changed my plan of attack while doing this and the 2 changes i made are...... i wired both the drivers side and passengers side to the courtesy light on the drivers door which is why i added a bigger fuse...... i also instead of running the wires through the boot i ran them through the same holes as the wiring harness and zip tied the wires to the rubber boot. if there are any questions after the pics just let me know. BTW the white wire is my + and the black wire is my -.....

That last picture is of the LEDs i used that i bought off ebay. i know that i didnt do it the way you might want to do it or think it should be done so if you do not like how it is done then please keep the comments to yourself.

with the door panel on you cannot see it. the black wires are normally moved around to the back of the ruber tubing so it is not visible but left in the open i would agree with you
