where to find headers at good prices??
My friend with his 99tl (not type s) is looking at buying headers...now i know i did use the search..
What i am looking for is where did people find the best deal on NEW headers..
We are looking at Stone, comptech, NOT OBX, and any others i can't think of...
SO any help would be appreciated including the website that you got them from.
This could be used for future reference also for people!

they make the Stone headers in batches, so just keep looking and you will find a set - I recommend Ebay for sure, thats where I got mine - and after about 20k miles on them, everything is just fine.

btw SWIFT. you're wrong about the new gen OBX stainless steel headers. There i tried searching around and NOBODY has complained about them breaking yet...only the people who got the crappy ceramic OBX decades ago. I've had obx for almost 2yr no break.
and the "fitment" problem is not bad, it only occurs in the downpipe but with a bit of force it can be overcomed...from the looks, its not like you're installing them anyways. I did my installation so i'd know
MEAGAN: yeah, ppl talk good but nobody's had em long enough to see breakage or leaks. the welds look the same as obx.
STONE: no complaints, extra $200
Comptech: no need to exlain

i've had my OBX stainless steel headers for a lil over a year....two front pipes coming out of the block is leaking. the welding has separated from the flanges. i've posted a pic of them with black smoke around the pipe and the engine... gas milage sux...i shoulda kept my stock headers so i can switch them...but i threw it out when i first got obs( ol bull shit) headers.
so stone header is supposed to be good? how about meagan? i need to replace my pos OBX... can't afford comptech unless it's used.

from what i was told on this site the 3rd batch of stone headers are great, no leaks, perfect fitment and same power increase as comptech. I paid 330 shipped like i said and they are awesome. get stones.
