Can I purchase a-spec parts for my 02, Like the headlights and painted grill and trim? Anyone know what I'm talkin about? I've read somewhere that only a-spec owners can purchase these parts, true?

That's what I was planning on doing, I just didn't want to screw up my headlights by ripping them apart. I was just curious to see if they were available to purchase.

there are very good diy instructions on taking your headlights apart to clear them, just use the instructions to get to the inside to paint. its not that hard. yea im not sure but i think you have to have a a-spec to get a-spec parts??

To maintain exclusivity -- if people can buy A-spec parts and do up their regular TL's like A-specs, then the rarity and exclusivity value of the real A-spec TL's would drop.

A-Spec's were supposedly only in Canada for the 03 and older

there's a set of A-spec headlights on ebay right now. $500 bid, $600 buy-it-now. not worth it in my opinion. I'm sure you can get a good body shop to open up your headlights, paint em, and remove the reflector for that much.

or im sure you can get to open them up and clear and paint them too. id still do it myself!
