where does the filter for the CAI sit?

So, is it exposed so that when u look at the driverside front wheel u can see it? or is it hidden behind the wheelwell? I need to know cause of water issues just afraid of water going in...it doesn't rain much but once the snow melts there are puddles everywhere for about half a month. Thanks.

Its hidden....you can't see it unless you take the front bumper off or remove the trim around the front drivers wheel well.

water isn't a problem unless the filter is submerged in water.

if you get a bypass filter from AEM. It really doesnt matter about the water.
