Question Where do I get a performance chip?

I just bought a 2002 tl type-S. I'm looking for a little extra hore power. Does anyone know where I can obtain a performance chip? or Please reply if you have any other suggestions. Thanks!

Sorry there is no such chip for the 99-02 TL or TLS at all. Most people add intakes, headers, exhausts for some HP gain.

Oh...there's a "mystery mod" that we're all awaiting. Get on the list...

You should take a look at this discussion from the TL section. It has some useful information (at the beginning and end, the middle is silly). The AEM computer management system may be the way to go. Anyway, take a gander.....

I checked out the engine management system by AEM http://www.aempower.com/ems.htm and only found 3.2CL listed, no 3.2TL. After reading about this product, it didn't give much information on what it would do for you.

I also checked out Unichip by ECU http://www.airpowersystems.com.au/unichip/unichip.htm and http://www.armadale4wd.com.au/products/unichip.htm which gave a pretty good picture of what you can expect with this chip. However, I did not find any specific application for the Acura TL

I just got the '02 TL-S and I've been looking for more hore power. I also want my car to go faster. Seriosly, been looking everywhere for a chip - no luck. Gotta go with more conventional mods, like headers, cai, "mystery mod", etc.

Those that said it doesn't exist aren't exactly correct. There's a thing called the Unichip...and you can configure it even better than the AEM version. I've been talking with both people, and Unichip I think is the way to go. However, realize both will void your warranty completely and irreversibly.
