where could I find these?

I just sold my old TLS wheels to someone, now I need to package them up and ship them out. Does anyone know where I can find boxes big enough? They are 26"x26"x10" That would leave enough room to pack it nicely. Anyone have an idea? I called the UPS store, and they want 15 bucks for each box. Kinda expensive if you ask me. Please let me know asap, need to send them out monday. Thanks

wrap each wheel in a big plastic garbage bag, then cut some heavy duty cardboard in a strip that will fit around the rim, using heavy duty packing tape make that strip like a donut to form around the rim. then cut 2 circles to put on top and bottom of each wheel. wrap in tape and you wil have what looks like big round cardboard hat boxes! now i did this with tires and rims, and it cost $100! from my house to texas, and weighed 40lbs each! you can do it for much cheaper because the tires @ 17lbs each won't be involved. you'll need a few rolls of tape!

If you decide to get some cheap boxes I would warn you about the boxes tearing during transport. Heavy items like rims need double corrugated boxes which do cost more.

You might try asking a local electronic's supply house. Sometimes they sell heavy power supplies that have such boxes. Maybe they'll give you them for free.

I recomend putting cardboard in between 2 wheels, face to face. Band them together with some heavy duty strapping. Then you will not need a box. Depending on your shipping method, I think this would be your least expensive option.

I actually used kman's idea.......it worked pretty well, looked like a ghetto box, but it worked. Im pretty happy, I sold all four of my TLS rims, even though 2 were bent for $520 shipped. Thats a good price....rite? I hope. Thanks for all the opinions.
