BTW, the link I posted is the wood kit I installed after reading through all the posts. Installs easy and matches the existing wood trim exactly. A friend that has a newer TL-S (but didn't know anything about older TLs) got in my '99 and said the wood trim looked nice and thought it was factory/dealer installed.

You can look around ... if you want OEM parts, you can try your dealership. Couple other places include Ray Laks Honda/Acura or even the previous owner of this site (autocarparts dot com)

OEM only has the trim that goes around the gauges. Only the aftermarket offers one for the whole interior.

BTW, you can not use the OEM trim around the gauges AND the aftermarket kit. The pieces overlap.

mike sorry to say but you are incorrect in both comments ... OEM also makes the wood for around the air vents on the passenger side and depending on the kit you get it doesnt over lap on the gauges, I have the full kit the 3 factory parts and steering wheel as well as custom door handles here are pix

I bought an extra set of interior door handles and sent them out to get coated with the blackwood. This is not just some cover, it is actually dipped, painted, dipped in clear epoxy and hand polished. it cost 150 to dip plus i had to buy a new set of handles cuz i leased my car so i wanted my stocks to put back

Let me correct what I said.

1. I should have remembered the vent trim, particularly since I bought the OEM because it's wider than what comes in the aftermarket kit.

2. The OEM gauge trim overlaps the trim kit I bought, I know because I installed the aftermarket kit then later tried to install the gauge trim. Would not fit. Returned it to Tim at Ray Laks.
