Where can I buy the 3M clear bra?
Hey everyone,
Just wondering if the 3M clear bra is a good investment and where it is available. Both internet sales locations and locations in Canada (specifically in the Greater Toronto area) would be greatly appreciated.

Basically the bra is a one time installation. If you take it off, that's it, you can't put it back on. Supposedly the bra will not interfere with the paint, and you wash and wax it as if it was part of the car.....

I thought that the xpel site had a dealer locator on it. It goes on like window tint, they wet the car get it into approx. position and then use an alcohol spray to activate the adhesive. If it gets ratty you can have it taken off (heat gun), I have already had one taken off, doesn't harm the paint, it had a glue defect and they left it on until the replacement came in.

Does the xpel/stonegard/invisishield eventually start looking worse than you car would with a few chips? Is it something that will need to be re-done every so often? Or does it retain it's good looks for the life of a car?
Anyone with experience, please reply.

However, I checked with a local tint shop and they install the StoneGuard brand. The material is $405.00 from StoneGuard. Installation is $140 and includes the hood, bumper, door edges, door handle cups, mirrors, fender edges and the top of the rear bumper. So as not to screw up the material it's worth the cost of install should I decide to go this route.
Stoneguard has a 3 year warranty on rock chips, Xpel is 4 years.
StonGuard is lifetime on install & yellowing, Xpel is 4 years.
If I go this route I might request they also put some film over the rocker panel edges. Dang scuff marks.
I am also curious if anyone has had any long term experience with this product.
