Hi eveyrone,

I'm pretty new to this whole modding bit, and I know this topic has been worn out. I've tried the search button, but where exactly are you guys buying the OBX headers from? I went to the OBX Racing website and the 98+ Accord stainless headers are $599! I've read guys getting them for $390 or so, but where?

Does anyone know any good mechanics in Houston that will do this mod, and how much is too much for labor? Carboy sound good?

Furthermore, how does this mod (and other mods) affect the Acura warranty? I have the extended warranty and don't want to screw it up.

Everyone who bought the OBX headers bought them from SSautochrome.com. The regular price is around $500, but the latest groupbuy going on at acura-cl.com had them for $390 shipped. I do not know if that price is still valid.

No mod affects your warranty unless the dealer can prove that a specific mod caused a specific problem, so basically, you're OK. Check this out for more info: www.acura-tl.com/faq.htm#8

i just ordered them yesterday, 340 from sschrome, send them an email tell them u want them for 340 your from acura cl.com and then if they agree they'll have you order them from their website and then you pay 390 thru the website, but they'll take only 340.
we'll i'll post pics i get them tommorow.

I already tried this per your recommendation and they would not honor it. I had to pay the $390.
