Hi, new to the boards here, and fairly new to the world of Acuras. I just wanted to ask if anyone knows where I can purchase Luminic bulbs here in Toronto, Canada. I want to get the JDM 3000K yellow bulbs for my fogs, and I thought I saw someone on this board who had done that from Ontario (but I can't remember who it was).

From different forums on the web, it looks like Luminics are one of the brightest yellow bulbs out there, aside from an HID kit.

I had them in my highbeams, I just recently sold my set. I bought it on ebay.com, but you can possibly try Pacific Mall.

 

Oh gawd...anywhere but Pacific Mall. It's like bumper cars there w/ BMW's and Benzes. How were the Luminics? And why did you sell them?

LoL! The luminics were good, but one of my bulbs did not fit properly, it would "wiggle" in 9005 socket, so I had to sell em (the guy I sold them to said he had no fitment problems). Here is how they looked:

 

Very nice! And that's definitely the yellow I want. Damn...guess I have to brave the parking lot at Pac Mall. A guy down the street from my office can get Nokya's, but I've read some reviews of them burning out pretty early.

Thanks for the info, Volly. Nice job on the headlights too! That combo would look great w/ my AN TL-S. Unfortunately, it sounds like it's beyond my technical and physical (read: lazy) means.

 

Worst comes to worst you can pick up a pair on ebay for like 20 bux. I might suggest from my personal experience not to get those 10 dollar bootleg 6k Xenon blah blah high beams. Those are just a tad bit whiter then the stock ones. Heck I might just join you and buy the yellow ones for my high beam while you get yours for your fogs. I believe there is a thread and thats if you search within the first two pages for a thread on yellow fogs. Have fun and good luck with the yellow's

 

NP man, I bought mine off ebay for $22 but with shipping it came up to $31.
