where is amp to the subwoofer
Was wondering if anyone knew where the amp to the stock subwoofer is located. Also are there RCA's going to that amp? If you want to add a subwoofer, do you have to use a line out converter and place it before the stock amp or after the stock amp in the setup. any help would be great.

The sub amp is located behind the right rear passenger seat back (need to remove the rear seat to access). No there are no RCAs on the Bose system at all. I used a PIE 4-channel LOC after the h/u and bypassed the stock amp (installed Phoenix Gold amps). I don't think that amp will work to power another sub, but you can try to run the spkr wires that go to the sub (beneath the rear deck) and see if that works. But it's (to quote Rice1304) "crappy".

Sorry, not a audiophile or anything!
What are the specs of the factory oem amp that runs out sub? 2 channel or 4 and does it just run the sub?
Also can I remove the amp and place one of my own? I have a 300 watt PPI 2 channel.
Also the sub, can it be replace as well, for instance with a JL 10 W3 or something with the amp install?
Thanks in advance!
