Question When is the redesign happening?

A lot of people either love or hate the 2002 TL and TL-S, but isn't Acura doing a total redesign of this car next year for the 2003 model? If so, doesn't it make sense just to wait another year and a half or so and get the brand new model rather then the facelifted model now? Maybe I heard wrong, but if the 2003 is the new model, I may just wait until next year. What have you guys heard??

And if you wait longer even more redesigned cars will come out and etc., etc., etc.....
So in a meanwhile why don't you get yourself an old Hyindai for $500 and wait it out...

Just my 2 cents...

That's not what I meant dumbass.... is Acura going to start introducing new models at the beginning of the year? (new CL, new TL and RL, etc. all came out in March - April). If that's the case, then in theory, the new TL would be out early next year, which isn't that far away and is worth waiting for. Anyone else with information using facts (maybe from the auto shows), rather then useless opinion ??

I'm thinking that Acura/Honda will not totally redesign the TL for another couple of years due to the facelift it is going to receive. However, I could be wrong about the assumption. It just doesn't seem to be very economical to give a facelift and then turn around and redesign it completely the following year.

I read somewhere 2004 will a complete redesign. This "facelift" is just that- a "facelift", not a redesign. I just wish I could remember where I read that though... guess I'm not much help.

Frankly, IMO, Acura shouldn't mess with success unless Lexus comes out with the new ES300 and is eating TL's lunch then we got a different story. The CL probably won't change til 2004.
