when engine oil and water mix
when engine oil and water mix due to a bad head gasket are you screwed? it is repairable? wat could be the bad side effects due to that? its not on my tl but 02 altima

Yes - it's repairable as long as you don't have a lot of corroson in the engine from the coolant. You'll have to get your head inspected and a new gasket put on.
It's going to be expensive unless you know how to do it yourself. I assume your 02 Altima is a 4 cyl? At least it's easy to get to. My R&R guy at the shop is going through the same thing with his old Honda (fixing it himself). Water was getting into 2 of the cylinders. He's decided to have the heads ported and polished while he's at it.
