When does your brake pedal go?

I came across a super low miles TL with 52k miles. It's a 2000 2G so that's real low. Engine sounds fine, and the interior is clean. What bothers me is the rubber brake pedal under the dash is worn down to the metal in the pedal. Carfax shows a really big gap of 10 years of no odomenter readings. Does this sound right to you guys?.

Sounds sketchy, unless the seller has a good quick answer when asked why it's so worn with so few miles.
Back in 2019, I purchased a drive way queen S/C'ed 03 CL-S automatic with 50,909 miles and it had very little wear on the pedals upon delivery.

Have about 180k on mine and just replaced the rubber brake pad and it was not down to the metal yet.
