wheel spin on TL-P

wheel spin on TL-P

You guys with TL-P,when you floor the car in ss mode,does it rip when it shifts to 2nd,cause mine did and i was very surprised.

nope not in ss mode, in normal mode or gate shifting it will spin them going into 2nd

I always chirp 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd is rare tho

Spinning a FWD car.... Hmmmmmm . Oh well, until Acura gets their act together and starts making RWD cars with a real SOLID transmission, we just have to make the best of our FWD TL's for now.

ya kris, it doesn't look like the guy even understood the thread. I rarely chirp my tires going into second gear. With the new toyo t1s on there, I can barely spin past 25 MPH on a hot day.

oh no doubt...I can see that now I have experienced a "true" summer tire, I will never ever settle for an All season. I can hardly spin these tires when it's torrentially raining, and it slips a bit more off a launch, but I still hold up against 4WD SUV's off the line. These things don't like spinning, they stick like glue. And braking is noticeably improved. The ABS rarely kicks in even when I give it a boot. Overall, loving the A-Spec!!

I can barely spin my Dunlop SP9000 even with all the mods on my car.
