Whazzzuppppp>! Checkin in
Hello All:
Been away a long while, busy with new duties putting in Laboratory Measurement Systems. and my susual car and audio writing duties.
Do a lot of posting on svtpeformance.com - pretty good forum, very polite people, lots of car knowledge.
Of course, they are lubricant wannabees, so I am slamming the truth to them just as I did here.
If you want some background, go to that site and search on 'Cobra'03' - that is my sig there. They call me Lube Man - i posted on technical issues of rubber insulators the other day, so now I guess I am the Rubber Lube Man - sounds dirty.
I see Honda is offering to extend the warranties on those papier mache trannies - mine was starting to go when I divested of it, bought the Cobra and the Outback as my daily driver.
4 months, 1000 miles, no major problems.
I just put in a 3.1 pulley, which is the most conservative of the pullies as it does not overspin the Eaton Sepercharger.
Got the following dyno numbers:
452 rwhp, 462 rwtq. Insane. The torque shows 425 pounds at 2000 rpm! I ran an 11.88 @ 121 mph at Cecil in Maryland several weeks ago. What a beast.
I also pulled on a Z06 two days ago - he had some minor mods.
I am pretty well done for a while. More car than this old geezer can handle.
best to all, have a solid Holiday Season!

Hey Rage... good to see you back. There have been some oil topics of late where I was just waiting for you to reply on!! I know that you're not here much.. but you seem to have an uncanny ability to show up at the same time all of the oil topics appear ![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Anyway... cool deal on the Mustang. Do you have any pics of her? I can't remember off hand.
Glad to hear all is well and you're keeping busy. Keep checking in from time to time...

Hey Road Rage!
Good to hear from you. I've been wondering where you've gone.
Don't be a stranger as we really respect your knowledge and insight.![Cool](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/cool.gif)
As for the switch to a serious machine, I'm sick. I just sold my 64 SS Malibu and I'll agree, there's nothing like brute V8 HP and Torque. Especially the kind that rips your hands off of the steering wheel.
Anyway, take care and have fun.
