My best mod is replacing the regular floor mats with rubber all season mats. I'm serious, I'm a retard when it comes to cars. Thinking about removing the headliner because of some noises that I'm getting, but I'm also getting very intimidated...

I would have to say mine is replacing the original hard drive navigation with the newer DVD system. I use the Navigation quite a bit when I go see family and friends in Houston, Dallas, Lubbock, OKC, Arkansas...and the DVD works so much better and its nice not messing with maps and stuff while driving or worrying if you missed a turn at night.

but fsttyms1, how did you do that to your gears???

Yes, I did. https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ght=navigation

I have pics in the middle of the thread. You have to really careful with running wires from the brain to display and so. I spent 2 days, about 10hrs each in addition to probably 4 hrs drawing diagram and color-code. Yea, I was a bit careful, but it's worked flawlessly since then. I loved the Acura navi so much, it's helped me alot.

About $750 for everything and...$150 for the costly v2.20 disc.

That was his Blown 6 Speed, so no. But in the automatics it will probably more likely lead to a transmission failure. I'm not sure if his blown AT failed before or after the blower though.

wash it twice a week, wax every other week. i use astroshield polish. looks generic but it costs like 15$ a bottle at advance autoparts, and its the best stuff ive ever used, even over zymol.

where you located? we should gettogather one sat night.

My rarest mod is my carbon fiber hood. Keep in mind I have an 03 TL-S and have a CF hood is rare for these years. Although the construction of the understructure sucks (OE Tuning sucks), it is still rare and sets me apart from the other TLs.

My favorite mod has to be the Tein SS. Some say sway bars help with handling the most but, for me, the ride quality drastically improved with the TEIN SS. After 54,000 my Tein SS still have not blown. That's impressive considering the streets of Philadelphia.

Also, the CL-S 6speed front clip has arrived so maybe, I will have a new favorite mod in a while.
