whats wrong w/ 02 tl-s
car 02 tl-s auto (duh) 164k only mods are ct-sc , coilovers and 07tl-s wheels. it is not throwing any check lights or strange noises at all. I've been driving it like this for a 2 weeks.
here's the problems and they all came up on the same ride to work.
1- cold start trans shifts to drive normal, once warmed up wont shift out of park. have to use shift interlock to put in neutral then start and put in drive.
2- in drive car has new shift point of 5k under wot. manual mode works fine.
3- idle is up and down between 500-1500.
any ideas or help would be great if more info is needed lmk thanks in advance.

Hey Boostedorbusted, if the idle is all over the place....try cleaning the TB intake manifold along with the IAC valve. May help the idle speed to be more consistent.
Try resetting the ECU afterwards, and see what happens. With the trans interlock, did anything else recently occur that may have caused this problem ? Is the tranny operating normal after over-riding the interlock ? Maybe the gear position selector switch is bad or out of adjustment, IDK. Strange that it doesn't do this when cold. Dunno, perhaps someone else can chime in !!!

Regarding rpm`s going up and down. Check the iacv valve, throttle plate and body if its gunked up clean with a throttle body cleaner and oil the plates where its connected to the throttle body. Also clean and lube the throttle springs.
Your tranny sounds to me that it could use professional attention.
No codes equals unusual problem.

Sounds to me like you have a vacuum leak, Have you checked the hoses on the intake manifold for cracks ? its best to have the engine on while doing this also check the coolant level if its low ?

Yeah, as ErickUa5 said.....check the coolant level. Ya may have air within the cooling system, try burping it.
If the coolant is low, ya may want to have the system pressure checked. Low coolant or air pockets can cause an erratic idle.

Has this car ever been in a flood? reason I ask is because
It means: Barometric Pressure Sensor Range/Performance Problem.
Its a sensor inside of the ECU.

P1106 is related to the MAP Sensor (Been There, Done That). Perhaps it didnt handle the boost from the SC, Do you have the extra boost pulley? The sensor sits on top of the trottle body.

"mods are ct-sc" I missed that one.

I dont recall the exact parts on the CT-SC does it come with an aftermarket MAP sensor? If it does then its time to call CT.. If it doesnt the Stockie can be found on junkyards its a common MAP sensor for Honda.

update no go on the map sensor it wasn't the problem after seeking advice from a friend you hooked up his scan tool and looked at a lot of info the tps is not reading the correct voltages at idle or wot. will be replacing it Friday with a new 1 or used which ever I get my hands on first.

Before you buy the TPS which means the whole TB unless you hack it what did the scan tool report ? 9.4% Is a normal reading at idle and at wot cant remember but its less than 100% for sure.

Have you inspected the throttle plate ? The TPS might be showing incorrect voltage because its not fully closing. Thats my theory
