Question Whats up with Zanio

I want to know whats up with Zanio. Everyone seems to be talking about it like its the BEST wax out there. Well is it really? No really?
Now the other thing I head is that it is a ***** to apply but the results are amazing. Well whats the process, step by step, tell me. Now how long does the shine last, in dry conditions and rainnyconditions? Is there a kit; shampoo, wax, leather conditioner, tire?
Guys give me details and opinions.

Agreed...go to the website or do a search.

One thing I will comment on is the ease of use. The first time you do it, it's a long process, probably several hours. After that, it's easy.....

Its a long process because of the steps involved...not because its difficult to use. And by the way...Zaino isnt wax..... Best stuff Ive ever used on a car....

Have a friend with a BMW 540i who was over at my house. He had waxed his car and was wondering what I used on mine. Told him about Zaino...... Took one of my cotten towels out to his car and had him push down and slide the towel. Still had some resistance....then I had him do the same on mine. The towel just slid...hardly any resistance whatsoever... Well...he was hooked! I gave him the zaino website and he was going to buy the whole shooting match! Told him to make sure he used Dawn to get all of the old "wax" off before he used zaino for the first time.

RE: car wax

I use Meguiar's Gold Glass on my TL-S. It seems to do very well. It removed some of the miniscule swirl marks but the bigger scratches on my car were still visible. Whats this i hear about using Dawn to remove the old wax? Should this be done every time? Or is it to be used just when switching brands?

p.s. I think i will give this zaino product a try. Too bad i cant find it anywhere

Go to www.zainobros.com and order online. Dawn is an alkaline dishwashing detergent and is probably the best at stripping wax, oils and the like off of your car. Dont use it everytime, just when you want to get down to the finish. If you DO get Zaino car polishes (they arent wax), be sure to strip off your meguiers first using the Dawn method. Also, be sure to follow the directions with Zaino....you will be amazed at the shine!

The TLS paint does have a clear coat. My parents came down to help me build a deck on our new home this past weekend. He is just as fanatical about car appearance as i am, and when he saw my car and my wifes 2000 Dark Green 4Runner, he made me sell my Zaino to him....I am picking up my replacement batch today. Here is what you at least need to start with:

Z-1 SHOW CAR POLISH LOK PRE-CLEANER AND GLOSS CONDITIONER

Z-2 SHOW CAR POLISH FOR CLEAR COATED FINISHES

Z-6 ULTRA CLEAN "GLOSS ENHANCER" SPRAY - a must in between cleanings

Z-7 SHOW CAR WASH

The total for this is $39.80 plus tax. Call Sal Zaino and ask him who the dealer is in your area. (732) 833-8800

I have used over 30 different waxes and polishes on 20+ different cars and paint and this takes the cake, hands down. Good luck. Thanks,

Yeah, especially if you're a shark. Staying out of the water I take it?

That's pretty much all you'll need. Me personally, I will be getting the Z5 (swirl remover) and the Claybar (I do it twice a year, before winter and after). I'm only getting the Z5 b/c I have a darker color. If you have a light car, say white or silver, you shouldn't need Z5......
