It sounds like another way of saying bring the vaseline and bend over, were about to screw you out of another 500 clams.

When you're negotiating the price of the car... negotiate the Out the Door (OTD) price. Figure out the price of the car, plus tax and DMV fees. That way they can't hide any other fees like Pack fees.....

LMAO yeah, it's short for the fudge pack fee.

You should be able to get the car for $1000 over invoice AT WORST and only pay taxes over that.

maybe he couldn't say "DESTINATION" FEE. Did he speak with a lisp or southern draw?

or maybe when they shipped the car to the dealer they packed the entire interior with packing peanuts. then the dealer had to UNpack the car when it arrived. hmmmmmm

a pack fee is something the dealer adds to the internal cost of the car..............so if the dealer says they have a 500 dollar pack, the sales managers cost would be 500 over invoice...............the 500 dollars generally just pads the owners pockets

No problem... Just tell them that you have a $550.00 "unpacking" fee. Problem solved!
