What's the offset for 99 tl?
offset relates to the wheel width so you need both pieces of info. for the most part, getting 8" wide rims with at least a +50mm offset and 235/35 tires will be right on. now if you find 7.5" wide rims, the narrower width means you can go slightly lower with the offset and still not have any rubbing, but 50 is still the magic number because if will offer you that muchmore clearance. you can go wider with 8.5 but the offset will need to be higher and this sometimes means you must buy the expensive/custom wheels!
Would a +42mm offset with 225/40/18 tires on 8" wide rims rub at all? If not, what if the car is lowered 1.5"? I'm looking for 18's, but most of the ones I'm finding are +42mm with 225 or 235 wide tires.
Thanks in advance
