Question What are you Rolling on ? I need ideas

I just got my rims yesterday and there on... I got the lowenhart BR5 chrome 18x7.5 ( 50 offset ) opposed to the giovanna genoa which were the same size but had a ( 40 OFFSET) with bridgestone pole 3 225 40 18

i like the rims but every once and a while I scratch my head cuz they look smaller than my stock wheels.. could it be i still need to drop the car to get that desired look? AND IF so how much?

Or should I have went with 225 45 18 instead?

Help me out.... i`m beginning to think the the lowenharts looked better in the book.

what are you`ll rolling on

juniorbean, how did you fit 225/45/18's on your car? I originally had the 225/45 but they were rubbing in the back. I even had the pieces shaved down and reinforced. I ended up changing my tires to 225/40 and now I don't have any problems. You also have springs on so I don't know how your not rubbing. How much did you lower your car?
Btw, I have Motegi FF5 with BridgeStone S-03 Pole Positions on my car.

I haven't done anything to the car. Just got the rims, then lowered the car and I've never rubbed. I'm lowered on H&R Sport Springs and I also have a sub box in the trunk.

My guess would be that I have a high off-set and that keeps me from rubbing. I'm not sure off hand what my offset is. I'd have to pull off a wheel to figure that out.

wheel design can play a role too. Wheels that have long spoke, spokes that go from deep in teh center to the edge appear bigger than ones with smaller spokes.
