What you all think about G35(aka Skyline 4DR)??
Check out this article from Motor Trend
http://www.motortrend.com/july01/g35/g35_f.html
At the end, it stated that G35 will be priced lower than I30(which is about the same as TL/TL-S), with 280hp, 6-speed manual/5-speed auto w/manual mode....and RWD, it's gonna be one hot car for 2002/2003..

Yuck.. I think it's ugly and is no where near a Skyline 4 door. The Skyline is one hot car. If that baby makes it over here, I'll jump on one!!

Infiniti G35 is the newest version of Japanese Skyline(4DR). However, 4DR Skyline and the Skyline we usually referred to(R34 GT-R)are totally different breed(yes, even in Japan).

The car is roughly the same size as IS300, however it has long wheelbase, in fact, longer than our TL/TL-S....should be interesting...
I actually compare the 2, and interior dimensions are almost indentical... differences are usually within 3/4"..

It sounds very appealing the pics are great. I hope they bing a manual to the states. I am going to wait until next year now to trade my M3 to compare it to hopefully a 6 speed TLS.

I love it. The front is very SC/ Porsche looking, but I think it works on the car. I dig the heck out of the backend. Nissan says the interior is actually larger than their I30, and it even has a center armrest. I do doubt the validity of their projected pricing for it though. High 20's is a little optimistic if they plan on delivering everything they say they will

If Nissan really does their homework, and keep the price low as they promised, I wonder how many TL-S owners would jump on it, and get G35 instead?? I can be honest with you all, if Nissan really does it...I would be VERY tempted to do so...

Yep, I think Nissan is catching up fast, The next gen Skyline GT-R R35 should have left-side drive version for Europe and the States, now that will be interesting...
