Hi,

I am trying to get my hood replaced from someone backing into it. The question is, what hood is interchangeable with my car?

I have a 2002 Type S. Is the base model the same hood as the Type S? Can I get other years other than the 2002? I am trying to find it from junk yards. Are there other places I can check to get a cheap hood?

only the 02 and 03 will work. It doesnt matter if its the type-s or not

no the hood on the 99-01 has the grille connected to it......so you can only get a 02-03 hood........you can try and find a carbon fiber hood if you want.......but those really your only choices......

If you find a CF hood, let some of us in on your secret spot.. I don't think they make one for our cars, i've been looking for almost a year and i haven't found shat for the 02-03..

check out this thread......theres a few pics of 02-03 with CF hoods.......a company called O.E Tuning made a very small amount of CF hoods........but to find one i think is harder than to find a mugen spoiler.....its better to find a shop that knows how to work CF and have them make a hood for you........
