The general consesus around here is somewhere between 29,300 and 29,900.

Today's carsdirect.com price is 30,391 which is about 1k more than it was about a month ago.

someone just bought his tl-s non navi from sierra acura at about 800~900 over invoice...i think all models are going about $1000 over invoice. you can try to haggle them down 100 more but that would be about it!

i think you SHOULD be able to get it to around 29,700. that sounds right to me

but yeah, the demand is sooo high now and acura is not meeting the demand, so prices are all jacked up.

wow what a disparity...it's like choosing between apples and oranges so make sure you know what you REALLY want. it's not like choosing between a granny smith or red delicious...both are apples!

I love my car, but I'm shocked and skeptical when I read that prices are going up on a 2002 TL-S, seeing as how the 2003's of all makes and models will be shipped in soon. Could it be that the TL-S will appreciate instead of depreciate over time, like 99% of all other cars (exception being the 'classics' i.e. old Ferraris, 'Vettes etc.) Possible, but unlikely.

Fair price for a Type S

Invoice is 28,697. Anything under 30,000 would be fair. Problem is, demand is high, and supply low. Hell even at full sticker the Type S is worth it! Didn't come to Rome to live like a Monk eh? Want to buy something for Invoice or below Invoice then go buy a Camary! LOL! My friend bought a Type S with Navi and put 6000 miles on it and sold it to an Acura store for 30,000! Do you think you could do that with a Camary? You'd be lucky to even find someone that would buy a Camary let alone a dealership! They can't sell the ones they have ! You think they want one back? Whats that tell you? This isn't distressed merchandise gang! At full sticker this auto is the best buy on planet earth!!!!!!!!!!! So go get it and enjoy it! Love mine! Silver Type S With Sport Hn Rs

I say don't believe the hype about hot car. Should def be under 30K.

Acura makes a boatlaod of Tl's and ~40% are Type-S's. The dealerships here in MA always have on lot. They have stiff competition with Maxima, I35 and coming G35. Make sure they know/think you're cross shopping.
