What would I need
I got a question has anyone changed the antenna on there TL-S Gen 2 to a Gen 3 style .. if it would be replaced anyone know specifically what the parts besides the obvious would be.. this is what I was told... anybody got something different.

well you would need an xm radio to use it for one thing~
You can have a audio shop install it correctly for you with the wiring all hidden
Not to mention the gen2 antenna is in the window glass- so its not removable,
all you can do is add the sattellite provider of your choice ( the merger is not complete yet)and get the equipment for it.
The tape deck adapter for a small xm unit sucks IMO- especially when paying for hi quality sound, and the fm stations method never worked for me
so the xm went away.
You can glue one on if its just for looks

oh damm Tom.. I was hoping the new style square would have looked nicer than the old style pointy stick on the roof..I was going for the style plus usage.. I got the stock radio in still/navigation/onstarr.

not to go off subject but did you install the xm direct. the xm wired fm mod could have fixed it
