What is the width of the Type S trunk emblem?

Can somebody measure it for me? Measure from the edge of the silver by the T on type to the furthest point of the S. Can you give me the result in inches? On my 92 Acura legend I am upgrading my trunk emblems to this L E G E N D style.

My current trunk emblems look like this. http://premium.baypal.com/pix/onlin.../93acura004.jpg

When I remove the "legend" and the center "A" there will be 2 pinholes behind each and instead of paying out the butt to weld the holes and then repainting the entire trunk I want to cover the holes up. I don't care if this will look cheezy, its better than paying around $500-$600 or more. I think the red S emblem will look alright with my silver paint anyways.

Thanks.

I can't justify putting the "Type-S" logo on a Legend b/c that's just rice, but I do understand what you're saying about the cost of body work. The answer to the "hole" question is yes, there will be 2 holes under the "A" emblem. As for the size of the Type-S, I'm not sure.... I'll check when I get home.....
