What is the use of Cargo net??

My car came with a cargo net. I dont know how and when to use. Anyone here used theirs?

To hold things that you don't want sliding around in your trunk, i.e. emergency kit, groceries, etc. Hook up the ends to the hooks in your trunk and put things in the opening of the net. Need to look it up in the manual? I doubt it's in there, because the idea is pretty simple.

I tried to hook it up the other day, but it didnt look right. Can someone show a picture of it should like?

haha..i was thinking the same thing...the damn cargo net is annoying. There are directions in the owners manual on how to hook it up.

The net can be installed across the center of the trunk or along the back of the trunk (near the latch). You always use the bottom two loops in the netting section on the bottom hookups in the trunk. The longer upper loops are used when it's install across the center of the trunk (because they have out to the trunk walls). The shorter upper loops are used when hooking it up to the rear of the trunk (not as much slack needed for that).

I got a net in my trunk too, I just keep it there because I think it look nice, lol, never ever used it or thought about using it for anything

LOL - There is actually 2 of them - one smaller for the side. They do come in handy

the net can be hooked up so many ways, there really is no wrong way. Its used to hold stuff or to hold stuff from sliding around. Play with it and see. There are a few threads with pics of install

I like them so much <geek> that I bought another set of two..........now I have the two small ones (one on each side) - these are GREAT by the way - and two large ones across the trunk.

Oh and my trunk tray

I dont believe the small 3rd gen nets work with the 2nd???
