I believe the Ody had a bump in HP in the 2003 or 2004 model year, from 210 to 240-250 HP.

UA5 is a USDM designation, not JDM.

So it would be USDM UA5 = JDM Inspire

J32A1 in the premium model, and J32A2 in the Type-S model.

Nope..

1997+ NSX 6 speeds have the C32B, automatics retain the C30A

1996 - 2004 RL has the C35

1st generation 3.2 TL has the C32A6

USDM -> United States Domestic Market; in other words, the U.S. version.
JDM -> Japanese Domestic Market; in other words, the Japan version.
Inspire -> the name of our car in Japan; they don't do alphanumeric names over there like they do in the U.S.

The +04 TLs are running on J32S engines. I saw the stamp when I was looking at the engine bay when I was at the dealer.

Interesting. I'll have to check my brother's car when I go home this weekend.

The power of Google is mind-blasting. I suggest you try it one day. My life was forever changed after my first Google.
