I don't know what to use on my 00 TL. It's around 67000 miles. Should I used 5W-30 or 5W-40. I don't have the owners manuel. Any help would be great. Thanks.

 

5W-30 is what is recommended for your car by Acura. It is also recommended for year round use (winter/summer).

Some of us use synthetic motor oil including myself with great results.

 

5w40 will be too thick. 5w30 is the recommended viscosity for '99-'00 TL.

 

yeah 5w30 in the winter, 10w30 in the summer,

but I always use synthetic Mobil1 10w30... My favorite oil is Amsoil Synthetic, but now I cant find anyone who has it.

I have already 99K on my car, rides awesome.
