^^ Thats a great idea! Get some H&R Sport Springs model #50103. Or if you want to go even lower, H&R Race springs.
I'm kind of hesitant to go low cuz of the roads around my area and up until recently all these potholes around the Chicago area that look like they wont be fixed for a while. Also, there is always, and I mean ALWAYS, construction going on somewhere in the Chicagoland area and the roads are always fcuked up and uneven, I remember 88 was at a point where you would be driving sideways cuz one side of the lane was lower than the other. All those reasons discourage me from getting slammed....plus my driveway is at a slight incline.
BTW I already have a pretty decent Cobra.

Lowering springs won't drop you enough to worry about construction or pot holes.
Lowering will make your car more enjoyable and sporty to drive....that's what I hear from everybody!
Our cars in stock form have a pretty high center of gravity and some lowering springs will help you offset that a bit.
I would go with that if I had an extra $300 and were not lowered in any way....2nd choice would be an aftermarket alarm.

^ That's true.
I was at a meet earlier and chatting with some other 2nd Gen CL owners and they are running stock shocks with aftermarket spring...they like it.
Personal preference I guess but I hear what you are saying.

Oh...yeah that would probably not include professional installation. (for a good alarm with more features)
Sometimes they hook you up on the price of the alarm if you get the labor done there.
Better start making some friends at the stereo shop!
