Leave em be! I've seen a few debadged Type S's here in NYC and it always reminds me of the guys who shop at bargain stores to get designer threads with the labels ripped out. You have it, now flaunt it!!

i know there was a similar type of post a month or so ago, so maybe you can search for it.

this is without the upper corner badges...

if you have abp, it clearly says type s! and for those that don't know what abp is, they also won't know what a type s is.

i also wanted to take off the acura letters, but i think that kinda makes the car look cheap. although it would make washing the car easier, i am going to leave those in place.

has anyone else noticed if webshot, now under new ownership, is denying pix posting? ...like fotki, geocities, yahoo, etc.

it looks like posting links is problematic too...you get the permission denied error.

Whenever I see a debadged car I think. Aww that guy didn't get the car he wanted.

Debadged GS=GS300 wanted a GS400
Debadged BMW5 series=530 wanted 540
Debadged TL=TL wanted Type S

Debadge the car and go for the stealthy 'Q-ship' look.

As far as wanting other people to know that you have the top-o'-the-line TL, have them keep guessing. Only the true car enthusiast can differentiate the differences between the hi-po model from the low-po model, without even looking for the badges.

How about go half way?

Take off the 3.2 part and have it only say: TL Type S
