If the 105 service has already been done (timing belt, water pump, etc), I would just do a flush on all the fluids and make sure your mounts are all good and you should be good to go for quite a while.

beside the extreme torque being placed on the cv joints as big stuff moves?
and the vacuum assisted mounts cause a vac leak so the car runs funny?

Touring,, what are you doing riding around on bad mounts!! you know better~

valve adjustment is good plan- I should have said that- thanks totaled

Did they replace the idler pulley when they did the timing belt? If not, I would do that first. If that goes, it'll be time for a new engine.

Check the invoice from the timing belt service to see if they replaced it.

would the idler pulley make a sound when you turn your car off(if it starts to go bad)? i still to this day hear a grinding to a halt sound when i kill my engine.

would not expect that pulley to be replaced at service unless you mentioned it
not part of the timing belt job- unrelated bearing

damn. so if i were to get that replaced, since i never said anything about it then, would one have to go in to fix it the same way you would if the t-belt job was being done?

side note

Im talking about the ac pulley- its at the very top- behind the alternator

You can place a screwdriver on its base and listen- or a proper mechanics stethascope $5 harbor freight tools, 10 at parts stores, make noise detection easy

easy way into the ac tensioner pulley is thru the right fender panel
