What mods would give me more torque?

Hey guys,

Just curious, I know most mods would increase the torque output of the car. But i was just curious which one did you guys really felt a significant increase in torque? Lemme know. Thanks!

Get the TB spacer. By increasing the tract of the intake you will gaint torque and shift the curve slightly to the right.

please explain that further. shift what curve to the right? the HP curve? Cause the torque curve is basically horizontal

so it shifts up is what you mean...that is true because this mod (unlike most other simple bolt ons) increases your power/torque nearly throughout the whole power band

Significant increase??? Then my answer is turbo, SC, or N2O.

I'd say turbo for a significant increase.

What about the 3.5 conversion? What is more expensive to do? The 3.5 conv or a SC kit? For the 3.5 conv, howmuch should i expect to pay?

Headers, CAI, pulley, cooling mods, TBlock, or forget all that and do SC or nitrous, or if you want do them all. You'll find some torque.

websters states- modification: a slight or moderate change. Hence since he would have the same car and only changing it for a 04 then it would be a mod.

I was referring to this....... So a 2004 would not be that much if considering these options

no one has done a 04 conversion highly doubtfull its possible. the 2 best and most TQ gains can be found with either a SC or the 3.5 conversion, and those 2 in combination would be really big.

Just get the headers, pullies, CAI on first, and then if you are not too broke, get into major HP with an SC. Most mods will add torque at some point along the curve, but being the most bang for your buck: search! It really depends on how much you want to spend first... Or you could just go for broke and get a Supercharger. It would cost you much less than a 3.5L conversion and add just as much power in a bolt on form.

I would think an AEM cam sprocket with the timing retarded would give you some nice torque. It really worked for my Civic on both engines. Along with the regular bolt ons of course. Just a suggestion.

Well worth it! search the CL board for the 3.5 conversion. Alot of power can be made from it

It's obviously 6 more, but what he's probably trying to say is that it's so miniscule you won't feel an increase of 6hp or 6trq.
