what kind of grease do you use on sway bars
I did my suspension and I pushed down on the rear suspension floating arm parts to get the rear struts in since I couldnt get the tiny control arm off. Now I have an annoying clunking sound from rears when they move the first inch up and down. Wondering if sways got moved or slightly bent. I wanted to grease them to see if noise goes away so what should I use.

NHB,
Try tightening your end links on the sway bars. It sounds like they are loose.
White lithium grease works really well for lubing the bushings.
"This all weather grease and lubricant is recommended for general metal-to-metal applications. It is compatible with plastics and rubber and doesn’t drip or run on vertical surfaces."

After I had my Comptech sways installed (and lube was used) I started hearing a squeaking sound whenever I got in or out or went over a speed bump.
Contacted Comptech and was told that they no longer recommend using the lube... instead they recommend using teflon tape. They told me to go to a Home Depot-type store and pick some up. Took the tape to my dealer and they installed it for free. It's been about 4 months and I haven't heard another squeak!
Hope you figure out what's causing your problem.

Hmm tephlon tape or that white tephlon you use on pipes. What I mean is it doesnt have adhesive right? Anyway I dont know why it started to make noise now except that I used my weight on the suspension arms to push down far enough to get strut in rear without removing that small thin controll arm. Maybe I loosened something.
