I have the Comptech Axle-back exhaust. I really like how they sound, really sporty sounding, and not annoying. But it all depends on what you want.

Too loud with current set up. I think that I want to go back to OEM which makes almost no noise at all.

You should really consider CompTech, I am very happy with their system(not loud at all yet there is a low sport tone) my AEM CAI is louder than the exhaust itself. Good luck!!!

Just the mufflers ? I can get the mufflers and the cat back pipes from a junk for $150.
Well, if they had one.... That was the price I was quoted.

I would like the mufflers but $150 is too much

Mine is only 1 month old. Also, the stock mufflers from Acura cost over $200 each.

What junker has this? I checked all over the east coast and no one has it for under $400 for the entire set up. $150 is a damn good price if you ask me. I'm still tryin to sell my annoying Greddy's so I can buy AcuraTL's. Are you kidding, they're like $500 new and $150 is a steal if yo ask me.

Phi, you wanna trade your Comptech's for my Greddy? Even trade for the entire system. Anyone?

AC, I think I'll have to pass on your offer. The Greddy would be a little too loud for my conservative nature

I have a flowmaster exaust. ITs great and its not so loud. ITs loudewr cause its a 2 chamber and not a 3 chamber like tommyamrani has, and hates it cause it doesnt sound that good. I love it and its only next weekend when my parents are here and they dont notice its loudness. Wish me good luck.

It was for the Honda Accord V6 system cat back for 150. Which I assume will be the same for both cars.

I did find an Acura TL in Ct that he was willing to sell the entire exhaust off. I asked about just the mufflers which were $150.

I had Comptech Headers and Exhaust put on my car yesterday and I am not sure I like the exhaust. In my opinion, it is quite loud compared to stock. It does have a nice sport sound to it, but it is really deep when cruising 2-3000 RPMs.

Hopefully I get used to it. If not, I will be selling it.

Thats what I thought at first...but I got used to them and doent sound that loud anymore. Also, my girlfriend said that the first time she heard it, she was like man this thing is loud...but then she got used to it and kinda likes it.

So give it time.

Thanks for the encouragement Phitl. I was a little happier this morning than I was last night. For the performance I gain, I should be able to live with it.

BTW-I have heard a few people complain about the CAI, I used to have Saab that whistled like the CAI, I kinda like it.
