What kind of brake pads?

My front pads are worn out and needs replacing. What kinds do you guys have? I have AEM pads in the rear and they are ok. What kind would you guys go with? I don't want to spend an arm and a leg for them either. SHould I just get another set of AEM? or how about Axis Metal Master Pads?

Can you describe how they're better? Shorter stopping distance? Firmer pedal feel? Less brake dust? Any fading?

Thanks.

AGREED! The Metal masters have a better grip and a firmer feel. Only part that I had to get used to was the fact that it was harder to taper off the stop at the end to smooth out the moment when the car comes to a complete stop. But still, I'd rather get a little more abrupt stop and get better stopping distances than the mediocre stop the OEM pads gave. i highly recommend the upgrade to Metal Master pads. And since they are available here on Acura-TL.com through Autocarparts, they are easy to get!

This is one reason why we get nose dives when we brake. Only solution is suspension upgrade.
