Yup I had that. It's a carbon fiber Ractive filter connected with a piece of rubber elbow that I got from Home Depot. The elbow is found in the plumbing section.

i made my own intake also, but i made it out of exhaust piping and painted it red and its a CAI.

btw MahaRaja i guess i saw ur ride today, at sunrise blvd around 11A.M. or may be someone with a silver TL drop and stock rims.
