What happens if...
You don't follow break-in procedures to the letter.
Is it alright to race or rev your engine high or drive a little too fast every once in awhile before your break-in period is up?
So long as you don't break the rules too much there really shouldn't be a big problem right?
What happens if you are constantly racing or reving too high or going too fast during your break-in period, will this result in serious engine damage and possibly void warranty work if they found out you didn't follow break-in rules?
Thanks for your help.

Well, sometimes it is hard to follow to the letter. I've been guilty of driving a little too fast or reving a little too hard once in a while during the break in period. I mean I did it a few times. You will be tempted to race someone, but don't do it. Just wait, you'll get your chance. Or you can get that 600 miles out of the way...take a long trip, just don't drive too fast
