Not surprising. John Eagle quoted me $500 to install headers. They said it was 8-10 hours of labor. I think I could install headers in 8 hours, and I haven't worked on cars in years.

If it really takes that long, they must have some really incompetant mechanics! Makes you wonder if that 2 years free maintenance is really worth it. Of course, that's how they subsidize the free maintenance - by overcharging everyone else. Their maintenance is about 15-20% more than other dealerships across the board.

John Eagle....

...can bite me, along with all the other dealerships in Houston. One of them actually asked me if I "really" wanted to lower my TL-S!! I was like no, I just like to sit at work and call dealerships to asks questions about things I don't want! What a dumba$$!
But I finally tlaked to the guys at about the only rice shop that survived in Houston, and they quoted me $200....much better!

MA dealers are charging about the amount. I called for a quote on the headers, springs, and sways and this is what I got:

Headers- around $550
Springs- anywhere from $400 - $600
Sways- Anywhere from $200 - $600

WHAT A RIP OFF!!!!
