If you go under the car and find the sway bar, look at each end of the bar. See the things that connect to each end of the bar? Those are endlinks. They are what hold the ends of the sway bar, hence end links.

Are those supposed to slant at the same angle on both sides? I re-greased mine today and they aren't exactly the same angle, very close but not exact. Also, I remember there was the torque spec listed here before, can someone give me that number again?

Thanks

not sure about the slants

you grease the links too? i only do the bushings. would it help to grease the ends too?

the torque spec: before i got my sways a dealer told me the specs. i went to another dealer to have them installed and they didnt even bother torqueing them. also, the helm manual does have them listed - so i ASSUME that they arnt that important....?

Helm does or does not list the specs? Hmmm, so how tight is tight enough on the bolts on the sway bars? hmm....

Also, I only grease the bushings also, I dont think there are any spots to grease the endlinks.

Thanks, Phi

One of the things I noticed is that before you put those plastic clips on, the ones that hold the sway in place, you might want to make sure it is centered under the car. Check to make sure the end links are pretty much at the same spot on either side. I screwed up my front ones, but I think the force of the car moving the sway straightened it out.
