What does the P in TL-P mean?

Hey guys I know this is a nooby question that has probably been answered 1,000 times but I haven't been able to find the answer in FAQ. I always see that non-Type-S models are referred to as TL-P's...like my 1999 MBP. What does the P mean?

your right, it has been asked a million times... and it wasnt used to describe the cars from 99-01 anyways b/c it was the only model...

so your 99 technically is just a TL.... not that the other ones had a P badge or anything either though.

Pansie, pussy, poor, pathetic, powerless, pimp

jk. its premium but we say P to all the non S owners. makes it easier instead of writing 99-01 tl and 02-03 tl premium. P pretty much covers it all

My best was in the 14s (14.79) with just a K&N filter and comptech axle back mufflers.

It takes time to learn, weather, making sure car is optimal shape, gate shifting, learning how to launch good tires, etc.... every thing helps.

you guys are all wrong. the "P" means "Put some money in the bank now b/c you'll need it later for a new tranny"

Quick Reply: What does the P in TL-P mean?
