I'm trying to get something to replace that corny ass honking noise in my 99 TL, I'm looking for something that sounds like my bimmer when it locks, its like a high pitched beep.

Sounds just like the Lexus if you ever heard it.

 

well for the 01 it is a high pitch beep

 

Unplug the small horn and it doesn't make any sound but the lights still flash. The alarm will no longer sound but I don't think the sound of the stock alarm (beep..beep..beep) is any kind of theft deterrent any way. How many times have you heard those go off and everyone just keeps on walking.

Only way to tell is to see if the plug is the same.

Call Wayne or Jens and have them look at it. Maybe they can wire it up in a car to see if it works.
