what do you think of steel ball shift knobs?

i always thought the idea was tacky, until i drove a manual tranny car with one. i couldnt get it out of my mind since

momo makes one called King (not listed on tims site). its simple, no markings on it, and its a pretty good size - not too small

it will get hot in the summer/cold in winter but i'll live with that, and alternate between the factory leather one

(i also like the F16 alum/leather)

what do you guys think?
i can pretend im driving an f355

Doesn't the IS300 have a ball shifter knob?

Hey, if you like it then cool. Post some pics when you are done.

Sounds OK. Have to see it first. I think once I get my carbon fiber interior, I'll have to find a good CF shift knob.

Guarantee you will burn the palm of your hand at least once each summer after a hot day in the sun. And you don't want to know what would happen if you tried to touch your tongue to it in the winter!

I bought a Razo aluminum shift knob and the finish matches almost perfectly with the factory shift gate.
