I bought the 3A pipes but they are starting to get pretty grimy and they need to be cleaned. Any suggestions? Thanks.

3A tips

Hey,

I have the flat 3A tips, you can check out photos I have of my car:

http://photos.yahoo.com/soonger

Look in the TL-S exhaust directory. There's also the slanted 3A tips (available from this site). Personally, I think 3A tips look better when you have the kit installed.

How to clean 'em? I personally use the Meguiar's hot wheels spray. Works for me but I'm sure the other recommendations are just as well (if not better) Be sure NOT to spray water directly into the exhaust pipes -- you don't want your muffler to rust from the inside-out. (Spray water on an angle). Perhaps using a cloth may be better in this case.

I wasnt aware that you can get a TL-S in EBP. Is it a Canada only option?

Thanks mskeen!

I finally got the chance to get some NEVR-DULL today and it worked like a charm. It both cleaned them and had them shining bright. Thanks again.

Angry EBP, not ABP

sssick,

Trust me -- if I could get the TL (P or S) in aegean -- I would have ordered one in a heartbeat! Yes, the TL-S in eternal blue is a Canada thing ... so I have a same coloured car as a Civic (ridiculous). When I heard the CL-S in Canada got ABP as an '03 option ... I got really steamed.

Maybe I should have waited and got the A-spec in Feb '03...

blackshadow -- you remembered my car since the summer? more mods to come spring '03 ...

Saw all the varieties on the link. What is the size of the OEM tips? 9" seems a little long to me.
